So Long Summer
THE SUMMER BREEZE IS NOW A DISTANT MEMORY
FOREVER ETCHED IN MY MIND
THE FEEL OF WET SAND CARESSING MY TOES
THE TICKLING WAVES BRUSH AGAINST MY CALVES
THE WIND CALLS MY NAME
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN
SO LONG SUMMER
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN

Getaways that Can Change Your Life
The Importance of Vacation
What's your vacation got to do with the bottom line? Everything, say industrial psychologist, but the fact doesn't seem to have penetrated very well in corporate america. The majority of people still take work with them on vacation in one form or another, and more than 25 percent of professionals don't take any absolute downtime at all.
Vacation is as important as sleep. Lack of playtime keeps you from taking in information effectively and seeing the totality of a situation. Recreation deprivation also makes you cranky and often more than a little critical of the people in your organization. You are hurting more than yourself so escape to the perfect vacation because you deserve it.

Bon Voyage on a Budget
You've cut down on dining out and stashed cash for months for that summer trip. Now it's time to get the most bang for those vacation bucks. Think All-Inclusive - you pay one price and then you don't shell out another penny even for sports and alcohol.
Fly Smart - Smaller hubs are more likely to cater to lowcost carriers like AirTrain, JetBlue, Spirit airlines. Go Popular - in demand destinations that have a lot of flights are cheaper then small quaint out of the way locales. Get an Upgrade. Hey it doesn't hurt to ask espcially if it's a special occasion. Exclusive hotels will likely give it to you if they have the room. Book on the Outskirts - Stay in the Suburbs rather than in the heart of the city.
